Maggie Wilson and Tara Strobach first crossed paths in 2010 while working for a renowned bridal designer in Los Angeles. The two immediately formed a close-knit bond, evolving into work partners whose synergy naturally led to dreaming of future collaborations. Maggie sharpened her expertise as a designer, pattern maker, and production fit specialist with several prestigious brands. Meanwhile, Tara spent 8.5 years as the Design & Development Director with another bridal company, overseeing the brand’s design and production.

In April 2022, the pair finally realized their long-envisioned collaboration and launched Renhue.

Renhue designs are built for the modern bride who is confident and chic in a way that transcends generations. Think of these gowns as “future vintage” as the garment itself and stories experienced in them will be shared decade after decade.

Renhue emerged from a place of love and inspiration. When Maggie and Tara reflected on their journey toward starting their own brand, the individuals who had shaped their lives stood at the forefront—Renate and Hugh. Tara’s late grandmother Renate, a guiding force in her life, instilled in her a sense of resilience, kindness, and grace. Maggie’s late father Hugh, with his larger-than-life presence, infectious smile, and unwavering support, encouraged her to pursue her dreams.

By combining these beloved names, Renhue was born — a tribute to the legacies that continue to inspire their craft.
